about

A collection of original songs from between 1996 and 1998.
These are the oldest recordings I still have, though there were many more. I must have written a hundred songs during that time. There were volumes of poems in various notebooks, most of which became fully realized songs at some point. Each volume had a title and accompanying artwork, basically a complete album.
The songs presented here are from the volumes Dexterous Limbo, Have You Ever Seen God, Fly Away Freedom, The Circumference Of Evolution & The Windows Of Time, and Road Ballads & Blues.
Unfortunately, the only means for recording I had was a cassette recorder with built in mic. In late 97 I had gotten a 4 channel mixer to facilitate overdubbing. I made several tapes to give to friends, I have no idea if any still exist today.
It's crazy that by the age of 18 I had at least 5 albums of material, ready to go. All I needed was decent recording equipment and a way to press and distribute CDs. That can be so easily done now.
This collection is all that remains of the hundreds of songs I recorded during that time, by myself or with my friends.
